Operation Hearts to our Troops..Begins right now and continues through the month of February....We encourage you to send, letters, home made hearts, store bought hearts, candy hearts..anything that shows how much we love our Guys & Gals deployed in harms way.
February 7th...Wheeling Nailers Hockey Team will be having Troop Nite, bring an item for our troops and receive a discount for your ticket..all military will receive a discount. Wonderful opportunity to see great hockey & support our deployed military.. ( see suggested list

Operation Jelly Bean Express....We begin colecting Jelly Beans in March and continue through the first few weeks of April.
April 1st- 9th Bethany College Theatre will be presenting 2 plays, Returns ( Iraq veterans deal with post traumatic stress) & A Piece of my Heart ( women who served in Vietnam adjusting to life upon returning home ) Each night the lobby will be a collection point for Boatsie's Boxes: check 'items needed' for Operation Beat The Heat. Pat's Hallmark in Elm Terrace, WV is having a change drop and cash collection April-June for Boatsie's Boxes.
Comcast Care Day....April 25th...collection of items by volunteers of Comcast will go to Boatsie's Boxes to be shipped to our Troops!!!
Central Blood Bank...Between April 26th & May 26th, Central Blood bank will be donating to Boatsie's Boxes based on the units of blood they receive.......Help Central Blood Bank and Boatsie's Boxes support our Troops-The men and women who go above and beyond on a daily basis!!!! Operation Beat The Heat..Begins April- September..needed.. all items to help our Troops live through the extreme temperatures of Iraq & Afghanistan ( see list on items needed page )
Fund Raiser in St. Cloud Florida Hosted by Jeff Rinehart at the Soldier City Saloon, May 16th, featuring Winger to play the stage and many National Recording Artists ( details to follow ) to perform..
all proceeds to benefit our HEROES!!! All troops welcome!!!
International Convention for General Federation of Women's Clubs ..June 14th in Cleveland, Ohio...Thank you for your great support of Our Military men & women through Boatsie's Boxes!!!
Raffle Tickets go on sale in May ( see " News & Events page for details of raffle prizes and how to get tickets)
Honor our Troops Day & Raffle drawing/ fund Raiser This event will be held in Moundsville, WV on Saturday, August 8th
Operation Christmas Stocking.... begins in September and continues through December..Community workshop to stuff, pack, and ship the Christmas Stockings wiil be held November 14th at the West Virginia National Guard Facility.
